Way of War

The Jaguar Warrior favour ambush as their preferred way of war and the close confines of assault. The most general tactic of their combat doctrine is to sit and wait amongst cover and leap out into assault killing the enemy in one swift move. Once they commit they do not relent only ever killing, maiming and capturing all of their enemies is enough to suffice their lust for vicious combat. Those poor unfortunate souls who are not killed will soon wish they were once they come to realise their purpose in the Jaguar Warriors rituals and rites. With a love of ambush the chapter does not possess any suits of tactical dreadnought armour or other marks of terminator plate, they also forgo the use of both bikes and jump packs, the noise gives a surprise assault away. Vehicle wise the chapter favour land speeders and artillery vehicles such as vindicators and whirlwinds. The chapter also does make heavy use of customised flyers who's engines have be diluted of noise to allow the to make surprise drop assaults from the air. 

Chapter Rituals and Beliefs

The Jaguar Warriors have taken on many aspects of their home worlds rituals and beliefs none more so the the need for blood ending and ritual sacrifice. Every eve of battle or launch of crusade, feast of victory and on countless other events the Jaguar Warriors sacrifice victims both willing and unwilling, friend and foe to the Golden Lord. On many instances this has draw ire from other Space Marine chapters and Imperial forces fighting alongside them, it has also struck fear into enemies for the Jaguar Warriors take prisoners in war only to slaughter the to their god afterwards. The most recent sacrificial event to take place was after a battle alongside regiments of the Imperial Guard, during the battle the refusal of the Imperial Guard officers to advance to a more strategic location cost the Jaguar Warriors many brave warriors after the battle was done the Jaguar Warriors advanced upon the Imperial Officers who expecting to be commemorated for their part in the victory were instead held against a stone  and executed by decapitation one by one in sacrifice to the Golden God, this was met with screams of panic and heresy by those left alive by the Jaguar Warriors, but no one dared point the out as heretics after the brutal display. Instead word was sent secretly to the Ordo Hereticus and the High Lords of Terra of the incident which is now under review by both parties, what will come from this only time will tell.
